h22 pistons

Default h22 pistons

I'm looking to put the type S pistons in my h22a1, i was wondering if anyone knows if i'll have any fitment problem on the rods or do they press in the same way? if anyone knows i'd appreciate the info. thanks

if you have stock h22a1 rods, you just have to get the rods rebused for floating pins. Or I believe if you have the h22a4 rods they are already bushed for floating pins.

That is correct. Type-S pistons work with floating pin H22A4 rods, and not with H22A1 rods.

just get them rebushed for full floating wrist pins.. and you can pop the clips in yourself.. unlike a press fit.

what's the cost on that anyway? People always ask me but I have no idea.
