o2 sensor affect fuel with safc?
i know that when an o2 sensor goes bad, the computer will make the car run a little richer. my question is: since the safc controls the fuel from the ecu, will the cel light still make the car run rich?
You forgot to realize that you may also be running lean if your o2 sensor is defective. So your ecu can fluctuate and either send lean or rich signals. So if you run rich and have your safc set to lean...what happens when your ecu fluctuates and you start to run lean.

hmm...didn't think about that...i've been getting worse gas milage lately. don't know if it's the o2 causing it or being a little more boost happy with all this cold weather...
i guess, i'll just buy a new 02 sensor. anyone know where i can find the best prices on o2 sensors?
