Default climate control prob.

Ok, i took out my dash in my 94 accord ex. When i put the dash back in, my fan (a/c, heater) only works on full bast (number 4). When the climate control is set to numbers 1,2 & 3 air DOESN'T comes out of the vents. However, air does come out of the vents when the dial is set to number 4. My a/c and heater works, but only when the dial is set to 4 (full blast).

Just about anytime a fan only works on the 'high' setting is because of a problem with the resistor packs for the blower motor. Speeds 1 through 3 use 3 staggered resistors in series to control speed (3 resistors for 1 speed, 2 resistors for 2 speed, 1 resistor for 3 speed). When it's switched to HIGH, it bypasses all the resistors and the blower runs straight off +12v battery voltage.

Check around the blower motor for a disconnected plug somewhere in the area, which would be the resistor pack (usually right on the blower assy box itself)

Vp Special K-
I have a similar problem with my 02 accord EX, except only 3 and 4 work on the fan. Was your problem the resistor pack or did it end up being something different? Was it an easy fix or did you have to rip the dash out again?
