Default About to put VTEC head on the y7, but.....

I am about to put the y8 head on the y7 but I am concerned about one thing. two of the valves are sticking out about 3 cm past the other ones. Is this normal?

Out of the Combustion chamber or the top where the springs and rockers are. Either way you have a problem. If it's out of the combustion side you have a bent valve whic is not seating all the way. If it's out of the top you have the wrong valves. But definitely not good.

is the cam still in the head? there is no cam position which will allow all 16 valves to sit flush in the combustion chamber... there will always be valves sticking out.
