www.sparco4less.com question - SFI ratings?
I thought I remembered someone saying this was a company that is overseas.? all i see is "FIA Approved" and not the SFI rating on racing suits. I don't want to buy a suit to find out it is a European only suit and not good enough for NASA qualifications.
Anyone know?
thanks.

im not speaking for techs, just from experience, but they should recognize the FIA certification as passing the SFI tests as well. Sparco race suits (non kart) are SFI certified too. check sparcousa.com website. i printed a page from there as proof. i also have a spare SFI badge in case i get any extra hassle. i havent.
I just got off the phone with Dante, and he says he has never had a problem with their UK (Euro) stuff vs the USA. There is no SFI tab in their Sparco stuff though.
Has anyone had any problems with http://www.nasaproracing.com and their overseas Sparco?

FYI ... I am a distributor for Primm Racing. An official announcment will come soon. If anyone needs prices or has questions, please IM me.
i just bought my sparco suit from demon-tweeks about 2 weeks ago... got it passed at tech this past weekend at my SCCA comp school. i think they understand that an FIA rating exceeds the SFI standards.
however, if you want, they will put an SFI patch on the sleeve for you.
