The RSX Type-S has been shamefully represented.

Went to the drags for the first time last night. It was test and tune night so I got alot of runs in. Anyway, there was an RSX Type-S there with a kid about my age driving it. He had already put new assassin type rims on it and had it looking pretty hideous. I got to run him a total of 3 times. His first run was a 19.7@82mph. He jerked it off the line, then went dead and had to crank her back up. Next run he came of the line with me but dropped back instantly as soon as I hit second. That run was good for a 16.8. We ran again and I think he might have got into the high 15's, but I really wasn't paying attention. I heard him later talking to some other guys. He was saying that he has got a 14.9 out of it before. I guess the high heat and humidity must affect RSX's really bad.
It was probably just the driver, but I saw one to today running in the lo to mid 16s. I don't know if it was a Type-S, but I expected a little more out of it.
