Are '88 and '89 CRX windows the same/interchangable? I bought an alleged '89 CRX window, doesn't fit. My butthole hurts a little. Thanks.

Maybe you bought 90-91 cause there are some differences in 88-89 and 90-91.. or maybe you're not installing it right?

 

Install is pretty easy. You know the two mounting locations GLUED to the window. They are about 20 inches apart. The rail in MY car (that it mounts to) has mount holes about 25 inches apart.

I ended up buying an '88 window. And it doesn't look the same as the one I purchased, so i need to know what I have sitting here so I can sell it without screwing anyone.

 

88-89 are the same. 90-91 are the same.

88/89 doesn't work with 90/91 or viceversa. hope you get the point. remember, 90/91 has the seat belt attached to the door, so the window is kinda smaller than the 88-89.

 

88 only works with an 88 trust me, 89 hf will work on an 88 too. i just bought a window off ebay i may no longer need i might sell it.

 

88 CRX windows only fit 88 CRXs. 89-91 CRX windows are interchangeable. Look for a donor door with the same seatbelt design as your car.
