Default 195/55/15

will this tire size work for my steelies on my 94 accord (they're 1996 accord's 15" steelies)...i know the speedo will be slightly off, but i can get them for really cheap.

he's asking if a tire with a size of 195/55/15 will fit his steelies from a 96 Accord, not the rims.

So to answer your question, yes they will fit. You are correct on the speedo but you probably won't notice.

i wouldn't use them, reason being they are used on civics and tegs which wiegh less than accords. the load rating is probably not high enouh for an accord. also that is smaller tire and the wheel gap will look bad.

they work fine. I used ITR tires on my car for a road race season.

the only thing you may not like is the ride quality. If you have it lowered already I guess you wouldn't mind.

Stock 94-97 Accords run 195/60/15 so the tires that you are talking about won't mess up your gear ratios that much. The thing is, using tires that are smaller in circumfrence than the OEM makes the motor and tranny work harder, but I don't think it's much different from the stock tire profile to cause any problems.

i don't see why you would want it, it still is 195 width a 205 50 15 is a better choice hence why teg/civic guys you that size.
