Default everything from del sol engine bay into my crx?

hye guys, i wanna put a complete wring harness/guage cluster, transmission,engine,ecu and everything else from the engine bay of my del sol into my crx. it is a d16z6 del sol and an 88 crx si. is there any reason this wouldnt work> will the speed work fine? can i put the del sol axles onto my crx too? i wanna but basically the ENTIRE drivetrain into my car. thanks, anything will help

Yes it can be done, with a few exceptions.
it's hell of a lot of work. The engine will bolt right on , but you have to use the CRX tranny. You also have to use ALL the CRX engine mounts AND brackets.
the wiring part is the tricky part. If you are willing to take your wiring appart, and I mean all of it, then it would be a plug and play swap. you need to know that you will have to remove ALL the wiring from your CRX, including the interior harness.
I would strongly recommend you don't even try to do that.
the best way is to convert your CRX distributor plug to OBD1 and use the OBD1 distributor. Then buy an OBD0 to OBD1 convertion harness and you would be much better off.

Also stick with CRX axles.

yeah i have an 88 so i have to use my axles if i use my tranny. will my climate conrols etc. etc all have to come out also? i guess i could use the del sol cluster, climate contolrs and etc..
