Whats up with the new Edelbrock Suspension???
Has anybody used their new coilover setup??? They look really well constructed, and they carry Eibach springs. Just wanted to know some opinions before i buy these.

I have these on my car. Of course, being my first set of coilovers, I can't compare. But my civic is lowered over 2 inches and its still a smooth ride compared to how low the car sits. Handles bumps very well, and doesn't have the harsh bouncing ride I see other lowered cars have, but they probably use a ghetto way to lower them.
I also have the Eibach front and rear sway bars and love how the car handles vs. the stock setup. Handled great on some canyon driving!

from what i heard they are designed for drag racing and work really good...they have internal dampering and are only adjustable to lower 2" at max i think so they arent for the "low rider" guys.
they have been out for over a year

No, they aren't just for drag racing. Works good on the street! I have about 18k miles on my set already. The shocks were tuned to work with each application.
due to budget means i might run these on my car not too sure yet. I could either get these or wait another month to get the penske's.

Very true, but you can always swap in more aggressive spring rates since they are using an Eibach Spring.

My car is sponsored by Edelbrock...so I got them from Edelbrock. They run a less agressive spring rate than most people offer for Civic's. The fronts, if I remember where a 250 lb spring, and the rears were 150 lb. So the ride isn't over done and makes for a smooth ride. The IAS valve helps a lot in that area too.
for the use of Eibach. Their equipment is top notch.

Sense your sponsored by edelbrock can I ask some questions? Sense no one really has too much info on them...How well do you think they will hold up to drag race applications? Im really finiky about running them because they non adjustable . just curious if i should get a pair or just wait alittle longer to get penskes'.thanks-pdang
yeup. But if your baller enough you can run them on the street. Actually I went to my friends job a month or so ago at a body shop that deals with highend insurance jobs. jags, ranges', porsche, and high end mercedes. Well they had an exotic car thier didnt remeber the name it was european for sure looked like a jag almost. had an 04 cobra motor but the back was almost tube framed and the suspension was penske with the reserviors. Now I know what your gonna say "its exotic" well if they can do it why not? -pdang

How much horsepower you putting out?
Although, I don't think that would really matter. I think they would work good for drag racing. For a shock, the IAS technology would be good. I don't notice much roll to the rear when I accelerate. But thats going to be dependant on the amount of horsepower you run. Spring can only help you there, since a shock just stabalizes the car.
