oil light
I have a 99 civic ex, just put the turbo on yesterday, and my idle is really low. My oil light comes on because of this. I have tried adjusting my idle but nothing seems to make it better. With the AC off the idle dips to like 500-400 rpm's and then the oil light comes on. I have checked my oil level and its good. Does anybody have any suggestions for me? Also, this IS why my oil light is coming on right, because the rpm's fall too low? Please help. Thanks.
The oil light comes on because of low oil pressure
I think if the level goes below like 5 or 10psi the oil pressure switch flips the oil light on (how helpful). You sure your oil connections are done properly?

I hooked up the brass T-fitting the way that endyn did http://www.theoldone.com/articles/oilpressure/ .
I am most likely going to ditch that and just screw in the T directly to the block. I was told by a shop not to hook it up that way. I guess they were right.
