One thing to take into consideration. If i am not mistaken you are gonna have lower gearing causing you to redline in 5th at a lower top speed. Correct me if im wrong. If you like highway racing i dont know if that can be too good

its actually makes the f22 seem a bit quicker. somewhat quicker acceleration noticable in the 1/4mi.

yes it does lower the top speed but you can still top out at about 120ish or so, which is plenty for any damn highway race. If you go over that it's not really a race, its whos got the patients to wait that long.

And yeah it knocks like a good half a second off your 1/4 with the shorter gears. My boy can pull 15.6 with an h23 tranny, and an f22 engine. Figure the stock 5spd runs like a low 16? Pretty damn good IMO

right now i'm thinking about boosting my f22 with the h22 tranny... anyone got any ideas of what kind of turbo i should use? and do you think that the h22 maunal tranny would be better than the f22 manual tranny if i boosted on the f22?

i hear lower gearing is better for boosted cars, so i would say stick with the f22 tranny. saves you lots of cash that way too
