Default chip swap p28 to a p78

i was wondering if i could swap a p28 chip for a p72 for the lower vtec engagment, im running a 94 integra ls with an ls vtec swap, its got the b16a1 head, right now it engages at 5000 and i want it lower. is it a good idea, can i do it

A chipped p28 will plug into your car..........since it is obd1...any obd1 ecu will plug into 92-95 civics and integras. If you want a lower vtec, then it would be smarter to go w/ a vafc or a chipped p28. the p72 is made to run on dohc vtec gsr motors, because of the stock manifold. The stock intake manifold has the secondary butterflies, but since your using the b16a head, there arent any secondary butterflies. Please feel free to PM or email me if you have any questions.
