upping the redline
i have a question, i know to get a higher redline u should start workin on the valvetrain and jess basically gettin cams valves, springs, retainers, etc. but once u do all that exactly how do u know what ur car is able to redline at now????

But best bet is to go on a dyno after you get everything in, tune it, and find out what rpm they are making power up to.
well your cams will be able to go to a higher rpm, but you might not want to run to 9k rpms all the time, since the LS has a crappy rod/stroke ratio. but the manufacturer should say what rpms you can take it up to, i know crower says "8500+", so i personally would know that i could take it up to 8000 safely. but it wouldnt do it in a LS. just my opinion
