I was thinking of getting that seat instead of the reclinables, then I found del sols would help my headroom problem, so I get them instead hehe cheaper, but if I had the money, I would have those man... GREAT seats

The Del Sol's sit a few inches lower compared to the stockers, using the Civic rails.

Dang, I just cracked open to see what the new SCC seat testing issue had to say about them, and they aernt in there. The Pro 2000s look the most similar (also non-reclinable and have the little kidney pads. This is what they said it based on waist size (all said that if fit just right, but these are the other comments):
28-bitchin', a little more shoulder
30-Good back support, slightly too vertical
32-very good
34-Good all around
36-Perfect
My only other advice would be to definately sit in them before you spend 500 bucks on it. If you buy a 500 dollar seat that you don't feel comfortable in (especially a non reclinable because you can't change the seating position) you will kick yourself in the *** every single time you drive the car.

I don't get why everyone is hung up on FIA certification.
I bet you 1% of the people who buy these seats use them in a condition where an FIA certified seat is required.

Yeah I also thought about that. No reclinable seat has FIA certification, so why would you even sweat it. I know being able to recline the seat is more importiant than being approved by a French orginization.

can you give me details on how you mounted it, and what parts you used to mount it?
also, where did you get it for 450?

How do you like the kidney pads?? they look like they would be nice as hell. I may try and get some made up for my a4 and stick them in with velcro or something.
I made my own mounts out of stock 00 si brackets and some 1/4" steel....I wanted my own heith and aftermarket mounts tend to raise you up, and i didn't want that.....I got it from a local performance place and idk if you would get the same price. try this web site http://www.driverfx.com
get 92-95 civic seat mounts and make them work, i can take pics tomorrow if i remember.
as for the kidney things, they are nice, very suportive, and they sell them seperately with velcrow on them so you wouldn't have to make them.
the sparco site shows you under the accesories.
