im selling my 12 sec beast in hopes of building a 10-11 sec one.
Where do i start. It must be street legal (as in headlights and stuff so i can drive it to the track) and I want an approved Roll Cage, etc? Where can I get a rule book and stuff so i know what class i'll be in, etc?? I am already designing a set of traction bars and suspension set-up as a Senior Design Project for Mechanical Engineering. Im gonna look into sponsors and the such.
any help you guys can give me is very much appreciated.

it is a dream, but it wont be a REAL race car. I am on a budget, but hopefully some sponsors can help me out. i'd just like to hit 11's, uh make that 10's I will be getting my bs in mech eng, and then onto my masters. I have the drive, dedication, some knowledge, and a willingness to learn everything i can to succeed. I will be designing, analyzing, testing, and fabricating most every component on the car. I have a large pool of resources at school such as real smart people and a bunch of software packages, so this isnt gonna be half-assed.
Do you guys have any recommendations on books or other sort of resources?

i have a 93 hatch rolling chassis with comptech roll cage,this is just the rolling chassis.let me know if your interested.i also have some after market parts for sale.what motor are you going to build,i have my project car i was going to build.but decided to just stay street and lay down some lo-10's or high 9's.my project car has 26x10x15 goodyears withe the skinnies for the rear,but they have no rubber.these are brand new.the rims are bogart pro 4's.
