i've been offered an 88 crx hf. it has a 98 single cam non-vtec engine, which really doesnt matter much since i'll put in my z6 anyway. it's been primered with spray cans, looks like a$$. rust on both rear quarter panels. the body is basically rough as hell. it includes 17 inch opal konig verdicts, a 93 teg dash, ground control coilovers, z3 fenders, and a supra style wing. the car runs and drives fine....... is this car worth $1,000??

 

No, But if you want it make sure they didnt hack job anything.
Why did they put a teg dash in?

 

the teg dash looks pretty sweet in there, i did it to my 89 hatch, but then again, the hatch dash isn't nearly as cool as the original crx dash.........

I wouldn't give $1000 for it if i was just going to drop in a different motor.
The swap that it's got is probably the only reason they want as much for
it as they do. I would go for a cheap stock crx if i were you. It sucks having
to spend another two or three grand on a thousand dollar car to fix all
the dumb crap somebody else did.
