I am looking around for a type r shell(color does not matter). I have seen a few on this forum, and was wondering if anyone on here recommends looking anywhere else. If you know of friends, salvage yards, etc. that might be carrying one. I would greatly appreciate the help. Thanks -Shawn

that one was a hunk of money.. just keep your eyes peeled in here and the Vehicles classifieds.. they come up from time to time..

also, try to find someone local to you that buys cars at auctions.. usually it'll be someone who typically buys theft recovery cars to repair and resell.. they are an excellent source..

ebay is another place to look.. they are on there occasionally..

I have some local people that could probably help you out, but not with you being in Cali..

oh, and be prepared to travel a bit to get one.. I drove 4 hours each way to get mine..

 

Being in cali isnt a problem for me. I am fine with shipping it from wherever. I really liked the shell .RJ was selling for his friend, but as you said way to much for a shell. I appreciate the help, any more is always great! -Shawn
