Default Si timing gear in ZC?

I had to get a new crank for my nephew's 91 ZC hatch. I used an Si(D16A6) crank. I have to use the Si timing gear because of the snout on the crank. The Si gear has 2 more teeth than the ZC,18 to 16. Will this affect anything?
Thanks,
WTF

dont do that, timing will be WAY off in a few rotations of the motor, and the car will not run. you might have to get the crank timing pulley from the zc machined to fit over that crank, but if thats what you have to do, do it.....thats your best bet.

That's not good. I'll see what I can get done. Thanks for the info.

it matters completely, don't do it. It has to be a certain tooth count to do its job, not one more or one less.

Impossible to do this mod, the d16a6 gear is a lot bigger than the ZC one (DOHC)
