Default is the si suspension different

ok i have a 91 rex si... are the 89 dx suspensions different?? cuz mine is all fucked up and makin noise. the steering is real loose and it rattles alot.
started on one side. went to the other side after a big pot hole.
if u kno what the prob is plz tell me

only difference between the dx and SI
is the size of the front sway bar <---not always applicable...and the dx doesnt have a rear sway or lowercontrol arms to fit the sway links to.

so i couldn't really take the 89 and put it on my 91 + it wouldn't be as good right?

Well for shocks and springs and the front sway bar all the suspension pieces are the same so yeah you can use it and it would be the same BUT I would check out your tie rod ends and your ball joints cause thats what might be causing your problem it could also be your steering rack check all that out before you just swap shocks and springs cause I doubt those are your problems.

Well then other than the steering rack I would just buy new parts if you find out there bad you can use the DX's steering rack if you wanted. As for the balljoints and tie rods and such I would just buy new ones rather than using old/used ones cause you would never know when those decide to go out on you.

My DX has lower control arms....
