Port/polish head with 3 angle valve job. Horsepower gains?
What are the typical gains that can be seen with an aggressive head port and 3 angle valve job? I have deal right now for $650 which includes:
1)Port/Polish head
2)3 angle valve job
3)Oversized Ferria stainless valves

Yeah that's what i thought also, i was going to go with Ferria, but at $25 a piece I couldn't afford it and changed my mind. So I am going to try a new company called Si Industries in Irvine. I got to hold one and check it out a little and I was really impressed with the quality and low price about $10 per valve

it depends what on your car. If its relatively stock you'll get minimal gains. with some bolt ons...i would only expect a 5-8 hp gain...but you don't really know cause of the machiners...make sure they use a flowmeter to actually show that its flowing more air...
Who's doing the work. For 650 bucks you ca'nt expect quality work, in fact it may make it worse than you already have. Pay more money get it done right and the get the result verified with a flowmeter. Try Skunk2 or Portflow.
What 3 and 5 angle valve job means is where they cut the valve seats. They cut the area at a 30,45 and 60 degree angles to help airflow and swirl characteristics. 5 angle just adds two more angles to the valve seat cut.
