Just save and get a muffler and custom piping. Go w/ ES Oval for quiet or N1 for loud.

save and get a catback. Only having a muffler is just gay imo Hardly any performance gains whatsoever.

Yep. Just save up for the whole catback. Just a muffler isn't going to do much for you (sound wise or performace wise)

man my es oval isn't quiet at all. I have a rs*r header into a test pipe with 2.25" piping and a resonator into the es oval. It is no where near quiet, but thats probably because of the test pipe. It was much quieter without it.

You could probably find a used catback for REAL cheap. When I first got my car I found a Tanabe 60.5mm catback for $75 not a thing wrong with it. Just look.

I have a TRUST axle-back on my hatch....the piping is 2.25, but i got it custom fit to my stock piping, cuz of my low funds, but it sounds insane!!! I dont think it can get any deeper sounding than my exhaust...I can picture it being quite a bit louder if i got 2.25 alll the way thru....

i have used Flowmaster in the past. they make one just for the 5th Gen EH its not a complete cat back just from the rear joint back. no welding required

if you drove it at normal speed it was quiet, when you are running its deeeeppp.
