Default D15b wiring problems

I'm in the process of putting a D15 into my crx si and I'm having problems with the wiring on it. I have a 95 honda civic wiring harness and my stock si ecu, the problem is that there are a bunch of extra wires on the harness that aren't on the ecu. Do I have to get a different ecu or can I make this one work?

are you using the 95 civic engine wiring harness? it wont plug in. just use your old harness and match the plugs. if your using your stock ecu you wont have to run any new wires for the car to RUN. you will need to run a wire for vtec, after all thats why u paid to lose .1 liters right?
