I recently purchased the JDM LHD carbon fiber trim pieces off E-bay and
of course the only thing that fit properly was the climate controle peice.

Everything else seemed to fit improperly and as such I told the seller on
e-bay that I would ship the pieces back for a refund.
He replied that they <U>would</U> fit and that they just need some massaging.

I don't see how this is and am wondering if anybody has pulled it off.

Any help is appreciated.

You should have known something was up when you read JDM LHD

The Pieces you have are for a RHD car they will not fit. Massaging is an understatement IMO. the door pieces can be modified to fit there are other threads about that. you Might want to do a search. I don't know the threads right off

I didn't think so either, was just confirming.

 

I made the ashtray peices fit, and its looks great, bust out your dremmel and make the peices fit is all i can say. Does the left side vent fit???

 

Best thing to do is sell them to someone else.

Buy some USDM ITR trim and your set.

 

it's not worth it to make it fit, find the usdm stuff. I have a jdm center console with the cf trim around the shift boot, the ashtray, cupholder etc. just laying around, and of course none of it fits. It's worthless, the only way to sell is to trick someone, which isn't cool.
