GC coilovers... opinions???
My teg is currently on tokico struts w/ neuspeed springs. The ride sux ***, and my car is too low. I'm thinking about purchasing some coilovers so I can adjust the height as I please. With GC coilovers, will the ride quality be any better, or worse? Can I use the coilovers with my tokico struts?
Thanks in advance to anyone that replys

I had them on my Civic and I liked them a lot. I never had issues with them. My previous set up was Nuespeed Race springs then I switched to GC's with KYB's. I think you'll like them, great on the budget too. I still remember how easy it was to adjust the height on them, I miss that everytime I adjust my TEIN HA's
As far as using your Tokicos with the GC's, I don't see why not? anyone care to correct me on that?

i saw skunks since they are stiffer(i think) and get the KYB AGX's they are pretty good and i know alot of ppl running that combo. and if u didnt know KYB makes GAB
I have Ground Control on my integra, THEY ROCK!!!!! I love them, the ride is so much better over stock, I have them on my stock struts my next upgrade will be Tokico's!!! I cant wait!!!!!!!!!!!

Next to Weapon-R Skunk makes the softest spring rate out there. Get the GC's, they are one of the only coilover company's that offers its customers customizable spring rates. Right now I am using their 950 lb springs in the front, and 800lbs in the rear on Tockico adjustables set at 5. I have used GC on my last 2 Honda's with no problems whatsoever, it is a quality company. I think they are having a sale right now for $299.
I had some GC limited editions w/stock shocks and the ride was sweet. I just upgraded to Koni yellows and the GC's to fit. I like the ride a lot better. If you're looking to get some used GC limited editions then e-mail me: abez@sbcglobal.net.
GC's aren't progressive rate springs. If ride quality is your priority, get springs that are.
Halo:950-800!!!!!! Do you drive on pool table like roads? I've got 325F and 250R and I consider my ride quality to be too stiff for every day driving. My roads must really suck more than I ever imagined.

my friends civic with GC's has been in Upstate NY thru 3 winters with them on, and they still adjust liek they are new. Wonderful product. So simpel to adjust, you dont have to take the wheel off. It is easier when you jack the corner up that you are workign on though, so you can dive in over the wheel to get to the adjustable perch.

950/800? What kind of track use does the car see? I can't see drag racing requiring such high rates and road racing usually (I said usually) has about a 200lb difference prefering the rear springs (according to most Speedvision TC race teams).

What kind of car is this on??? 800 and 950 lbs??? Tokico doesn't even make anything that will handle that kind of rate. Those rates are higher than anything on the street unless you're talking about a bus! I think you may be a bit confused there...
