Hi, ok so my friend had an 88 accord,

he went to take it to work today, and it started ok, went thru 1st,
he got into 2nd, then it started like, bucking/chugging, and at idle it just died,

now it wont start.
it cranks, or chugs or whatever, but wont turnover.
actually after sitting there for a while, it DID turnover BRIEFLY, but then just died out again.

now his gas light had just come on recently, BUT he can usually get 60miles of driving out of it before itruns out of gas, and I tried putting a 1.5 gallons in there and it still wont start.

if you guys have any ideas plz let me know!
