do you mean a dual band vtech phone? If so, that would be a nice project, seeing as how i've never seen a house cordless phone in a car, but would you replace the moptor as well?

Do you have a VTEC motor?

If you do, your valve cover will say DOHC VTEC

actually i couldn't tell you how she pulls thru the ls gears.

the motor/clutch/cai/tranny are all sitting in a "neat" pile in my garage

i intend to turbo my motor next year and i wanted the longer gears for then. i guarentee you its not as fast all motor though, the long gears will hurt my acceleration till the hairdryer gets tacked on

They'll still hurt your acceleration afterwards too

I figured you were going turbo eventually, LS gears on a b16 are a no- no unless you are going turbo.

My friend has a b16 with LS tranny and we are going to the track Sunday, I was curious to know how much those gears are gonna slow him down.

Hey new guy. I hope you have a fun time doing your project... Don't mind these "elitest" ******** that only know how to flame.

When I first started on this board I didn't much about honda's and now I run HPDE's regularly. (HPDE= open lapping day or High Performance Driving Education)

You're gonna want to research putting in a few different b series motors.

There's the b16 (del sol vtec equivalent)
The b18c1 (integra GSR 1994-up)
or the B17 (I believe that was in a 92-93 GSR)

When researching doing searches on "b16 in CRX" OR "CRX motor swap"

Don't only search on Honda-Tech also seach on Google.

As for everyone who gives you shi* about misspelling something or asking noob questions just remember that they don't fVcking matter they just need to increase their internet ego.

Good luck with your project.

Another great place to get info is the new FAQ page that is stickied on the top of the EF page. There's got to be some B16 install tips/instructions there.
