Default Koni Yellow & Skunk2 Coilovers

does anyone have the ring adaptor that skunk2 has? any pictures? I have koni shocks and skunk2 coilovers but I didn't like how they fit onto the shock so I went to the site and saw they had a ring adaptor. I wanted to know how it fit and if it was as clean as the groundcontrol/koni set up for 92-95 civic hatchback

I know someone using that combo. The rings had to be machined to fit correctly. For the $$ saved over GC (which fit perfectly) I would vote its not worth the "savings"

i bought some knock off ground controls, and bought the rings.

the rings were too wide for the knock offs, and the ground controls, i had to take it to a machine shop, and get cut smaller. the guy at the machine shop did a PERFECT job, they slipped in easily if fit correctly, wouldn't go in if they were not level. They set completely flush on the inner lip. it had cost me 25 for the rings and 5 a ring to get them machined. overall i saved about 70-75 from just buying a ground control for koni yellows from ground control. i'd recommend buying what fits.

edit: the original sleeves didn't fit right. i had to order new ground control sleeves, with the counter bore in them for the rings. THEN had to buy new perches for the new sleeves. on top of that, had to get the rings, and the rings machined.
