I have been seeing this car out and about for like 2 years now, to no avail.. Is this car ever gonna run or is it a very expensive show car? Im sure HONDA could have split up the money they gave for that car and given it to some other racers that are actually doing something in this sport...

yea thats what i was thinking when i first saw it last year.. But adam should have known that from the start..Its not like he was a rookie to the mix..

I saw an interview with him on TV once, and that's why he doesn't race it. The thing is too burly for him, he can't control it.

 

Not to mention ugly.

 

the wheel base and what not shouldnt be too different from BEN MA's focus that ran 6's. if the cars set up right , no reason it chouldnt go down the track straight.

theres gotta be more to it then its just " too burly" that sounds like an excuse for we fucked up and didnt have a clue how to build a car like this.

it ran 7's..i dont think it ever dipped into the 6's.... BTW, i guess adam's got the right mindset.. You got to crawl before you can walk.. Meaning he has the get the nsx down the track properly and good before he steps up..

Actually I believe it only ran low 7's? And as far as the short wheel base, its so true. I wouldnt go down the quater in that thing.... and did anyone remember how squirley ben's car was.....

thats what i tohught i thought i rememeber like 7.2's out of it or so , but never 6's

yea Adam cant even get the NSX worthy.

If he was smart, this would be the reason he hasnt driven it yet, that thing is a jellybean with wheels, too short.. Ben Ma's car was a wet noodle, crashed too often for anyones liking..

 

adam is nothing but a showboat. i don't think the pic he has of himself on the back of his trailer is big enough. too many dollars and not enough cents. get out of the sene and let someone who really wants to go fast move in.

 

ahahhaa i love ron's analogy's...yea the focus crashed too much, maybe thats why they didnt run it this year...but from what i recall nelson hoyo's or whoever drove that old V8 yellow focus had a pretty short wheelbase and it went straight for the most part (most RWD cars dont) and it went 190+ back then when the 200mph chase was still a dream..

 

The one thing I do like is I want a realy hot chick to help me back up my car after my burn out.

Ben's car ran a best of 7.3 in Tampa Fla. in its last season.

 

maybe just like how ben let someone else drive the car, maybe adam should look into that as well.. Ill volunteer for the nsx as long as i get lined up by the same person

 

no point in building that SI. years ago when the nsx was being created, it was supposed to be the first 6 second honda...2-3 years later, i dont think the thing has made a single clean 100% pass...and in one of its first outings, stephs rwd car broke the 6 second barrier....i think adam should go back to his rx-7. at least what he did with that back in the day was impressive.
