If I wasn't already running the HeaderTech header, I would be all over this deal. I saw a dyno sheet of the 10-94 header with gains of something like 15 or 17whp by just bolting it on...
Let me know how the header turns out Jimmy

that was my header you saw!!! she's going to the Titan Motorsports shoot out and then home to me.. she's just a test header though- there is more power out of the later headers available from 10-94 and customer service is EXCELLENT!!!!!
No problem Steve. I can't wait. Since it doesn't look like I'm going to get my car tuned by MIR this Sunday I figured well I might as well wait for this to come then see what Master Sakai can get out of it.
Can't wait for dyno posts. I have my dyno chart as of current. I'll have one with my current set-up w/ my JDM 4-1, then 10-94, then 10-94 fully tuned (timing, cam gears, fpr and Kenji P28 w/ Field's). Keep you guys posted.

Hey Jimmy, what is your current whp at and was it with the Kenji ECU or stock? Also, do you know the turn-around time on these headers? Reason I ask is because HeaderTech takes forever (I waited several months for mine), but I was unsure of the wait time for other companies. Good luck with the header, and like I said before, I definately want to see how this header works out on your car

Well here's the deal. I wasn't actually "looking" for a header right now. I have a spare block I am building up over the winter and I wasn't planning on buying one till spring. Someone put up a post looking for a JDM 4-1 and not really being serious at first I said "you can have mine". They PM'd me in 5 minutes and are sned the money out in the morning. So I was like "oh **** now I must find a header". So I went searching again deciding so whether to go Header Tech or AN-R (as I don't have the funds for Hytech big tube or SMSP or DTR). So I cam across the 10-94 that it was actually out and the intro pricing. It must of been fate!
So now I am waiting for the header THEN going to get it tuned. Don't worry there WILL be a write up with pics, install and dyno plot bolt-on vs tuned.

excellent! I am sure others, like myself, are very interested to see this header in action
There just seem to be more and more high-performance headers coming into the market nowadays. Remember back when DC Sports used to be the ****

I was there when the 10-94 4-2-1 header was dyno tested. I run my car open header (big block) and I could at least hear myself think @ WOT.
Stock header on the ls/vtec at idle was pretty loud compared to the 10-94 one at idle. But at WOT b4 vtec w/ the 10-94 header I was all goosebumps, it sounded badass. Once vtec hit all I could think was 'it's gonna blow'. To say it screams is an understatement. I had tears in my eyes it was so loud and I started getting a nervous laugh going on. Ears rang for a couple hours.
Side note - make sure the guy running the car on the dyno knows what torque steer is
Pretty sure it was one of the first fwd cars they had on it. The guy didn't hold on tight enough and once the engine crossed over all I saw was a patch of rubber being laid on the dyno
Fun experience. Oh yeah, it makes horsepower too

The car wasn't strapped right...If it's strapped properly, you don't even have to keep your hands on the steering wheel.

the dyno chart on the 10-94 website looks faulty. if you look at the chart, the powerband is the same exact as the before and after. it should be a little bit different, don't you think? different size headers, different powerbands?
