Weird dizzy problem (mainly ignitor)
Well, the other day my car decided to stall on me (luckily it was just a few feet from my house). I tried to start it but it would not start. It would just keep turning over and over but wouldnt start up. I pushed it home and tried everything, at first i thought it was the main relay, but it seemed to be working fine. I took the dizzy off, took off the cap and rotor and stuff to see if there were any loose wires, nothing. Went on Honda-Tech for about a half hour to see if i could find anything, but didnt really find what i was looking for.
I just said screw this, and put everything back together again, and jus for the heck of it i tried to start it and it started right up!
Well, it drove fine for about 2 days, then it crapped out on me again on the way back from work today. I took off the dizzy, look the handle of my screwdriver and tapped the ignitor like 3 times lightly (i had a feeling it had something to do with it) And sure enough, when i put it back together it started right up. Anyone ever have this problem?

is your tach jumping at all, at any rpm? ive had pretty much the same problem. it would only jump when i floored it and got past 6k. car would cut out when accelerating, or just randomly and just crank over. i pop the hood and fiddle with the plug wires and distributor cap and the car will start fine again.
clean the connectors first, the pair on the ignition coil. spray with brake cleaner. if that doesnt fix it, then it could be a bad ignitor that has a bad internal connection. i was lucky cleaning the connectors worked fine for me.
