Need feedback on how to turn the light off ... it says MAintenance reqired when i start my car i donno what to do with it but i dont like it on> is it reminding me of something or is it just an oil change. Another thing winter has approached i was thinking of anti Rust anybody has any suggestions how i can save some money. Thanks in advance for all the members who reply and help others... You should search next time, but if the maintenace required button flashes multiple times (i think it is 10 sec) then its remindin you of an oil change.. that light comes on after a certain amount of miles ( i think 3 to 3.5k) With the car off push the black button on the dash that is on the right side.. you know the dial that controls the odometer settings.. keep the button pushed in and turn the key to the settin that is before starting the car.. hold for 10 sec.. maint req will continue to blink but next time you put key in ignition it will go away
