Quality difference between Autogage and Sport Comp tachs from Autometer?

Quality difference between Autogage and Sport Comp tachs from Autometer?
Wondering why Autogage stuff made by autometer is sold so much cheaper than their Sport Comp line or others. Anyone have any more information than the marketing product descriptions.

autogage is the cheaper/generic version of the sport comp gauges like valvoline oil to napa oil...also the gauge tweeks alot compared to sport comp gauge.
