Default Help: Spring Install Should be Easy

I'm putting a new set of springs up front, and was ready for a pretty simple job. I have had those coilovers in and out many, many times. But, of course nothing is simple.

I have the new springs on and was putting the coilover back in place but I cannot get the flange bolt in because the holes on the fork and lower arm are not lining up and nothing I can do will get them right. I need the lower arms down about .5", but there is no play there. Suggestions?

Would the Skunk2 upper arms have anything to do with it?

did you try installing the bottom first and the jacking up the sus to bolt up the top?

I need to go the other way, I need to jack everything down to get it to align. I have the dampers in the fork and up up into the shock tower as high as they will go and the holes in the fork are sitting too low...

The skunk2 arms tend to pull the knuckle and lower arm up when the shock and fork are disconnected. I dunno why, but the best way to do is to have someone step on the hub so you can line up the holes.

Good luck!

Yeah, it was the Skunk2 arms. I ended up dropping them out a bit and installing the damper into the fork and lower arm and then jacking it all back up into place...

Thanks guys.
