Knocking noise coming from D16a6, help.
I just changed my cracked radiator and after i did now theres a knocking noise coming from the motor. It goes with the idle, like its on a beat or something. Do I need a valve adjustment or what do I need? I need to know so that I can fix the annoying sound, driving me crazy. Also the radiator hoses when squeezed feel soft....not hard, like it should because of the pressure...right? let me know then, thanks in advance...need to figure this out!.

knocking??
maybe a spun main or rod bearing???
valve adjustment perhaps?
adjust valves then if noise comes from block then its a bearing
u can alsways rev the engien til like 2000 rpms and then remove one spark cable at a time and if it stps knocking then its a rod bearing
if it does along the RPM band its a main bearing

did it ever overheat when the old radiator was on? what does the temp gauge read now? did you turn the heater on? did you open up the bleeder valve?
nope never overheated....when filling up the new radiator i turned on the heater....didnt open the bleeder valve tho, do i need to? if i opened it then the new radiator fluid i was filling would leak out. could it be the thermostat? but the temp gauge is reading like cold....only 1/4 up.... so 3/4 away from hot.
