syspention help
imma be lowering my car a 96 honda accord 4dr on sportlines in a week and imma be using stock shocks . so sportlines+stock shocks=bout 2 inches lowered. im also gonna be riding on stock 15in EX rims with new tires. MY QUESTION ARE:
1) how long will the tires last without useing a camber kit?( i will have the car alighned after spring installed)
2) Is sportline springs + stock shocks a good idea? how will the ride be?
3) if i do the washer trick for the back of the car how many washers would i need on EACH bolt? sportline springs lower roughly 1.8-2.0 inches.
4) anyone have pics of this setup? thanks

i have h&r sport springs on kyb gr2 shocks. not sure how the ride will be on the stock shocks, nor how long your tires will last. i just got mine lowered about two weeks ago, but i need to get an alignment here pretty soon.
here's a pic of my ride.

LOL. I don't know, I think I like syspention better.
boiwitwhitehond:
1) I originally had neuspeed race springs + stock struts, about the same setup as yours, and the tires lasted for a GOOD while.
2) Well, it'll definitely be better when you get performance struts. The ride on mine was a little "rebound happy". That's the best way I know to describe it. On rebound, it really excelled, in a bad way.
3) Don't know, never done it.
4) Sorry, never took pics of my car with just the springs.
