I think 12.7mm of lift and 303 duration is going to be too much cam for 12.5:1 compression... A cam like that is going to need 13.0+ to see its full potential...

What about the M24 298 duration 12.1mm lift. "JUN Killer" NA Drag Cams ??

I havent yet bought the pistons so if higher compression is needed for the M24 and the M24E cams then i can get custom pistons.... Prolly something like 13.5:1 compression or so.... I have a gas station about 2 miles away from my house the sells 110 Octane year round so good gas isnt a problem for me... This car will be driven on the streets a few days out of the week, not my daily driver.

Thanks for the Info

I havent seen to many dyno sheets for EF-1 cams nor do I know anybody who has them so Im not too sure on how they perform... Try and locate some dyno sheets for the cams you are intersted in and make sure they make power in ranges you are comfertable with... Sometimes people look at just the HP gains of a cam and not the power curve or where it makes power which is IMO just as important as how much power it makes... Aslo your going to need to ask yourself if this build is more for the street or more for the strip... A street motor running a cam that needs to spin 9300+ to make power isnt going to last you very long, keep that in mind too...

With 12.5:1 CR pistons, I would recommend running the M24's over the M24E's.

Using the stock LS rods with the M24's, the M24's max power is going to be very high RPM, and the R/S ratio with LS/VTEC will be a reliability issue as well.

Seems as though everything else you have will come into play nicely.

Good luck.
