v-tec head swap onto f-series engine?(if possible do i need modifications)
I wanna see if it is possible to put a v-tec head from an h-22 on a f-series engine and what modifications do i need
^it's much easier to just buy an H22 cause i don't think this swap is even possible. if it is it takes so much work and time, that it's not worth it. besides the bottom end of the F22 can't handle the higher revs anyways.
It is possible: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=529272 .

he asked about a H22 on a F22
F22 with a F22 VTEC head is waste, i was selling my F22b1 with tranny for $350 and it had 99K. besides the hp gain is minimal, about 5hp the rest of the power is from exhaust and intake.

D'oh! Sorry I read wrong.
Indeed it is not an easy task at the very least.
