Retrofit HID's into EP headlights?
I just tried to retrofit an HID set into my EP a few minutes ago. All of the connections are plug and play. The only problem I had was the angle of the socket that plugs into the bulb is about 45 deg.
This angle gets in the way of the headlight rim. The only way it appears that this kit will work is to trim some of the plastic of the headlight. Leaking headlights should not be an issue because the rubber boot covers all of the area.
Any of you guys run into this? If so, let me know.

I just went to install my HID kit and they are not turning on at all! The switch can either go 2 ways. One way will not work for sure because it is high beam. The other way is straight forward. Im stumped! This shouldnt be that hard either!
this might be a stupid reply but did you check to see if you blew a fuse? i tried to put junkyard HIDs on my ep this weekend and blew a fuse, they only have 15 amp fuses going to our headlights, so maybe check that.
the h4 plug coming from the car is different from the older stlye ones. the older ones have 2 red wires and a black, our eps have just 3 red wires. what i did was cut an older h4 plug off of a civic and wired it up using the 2 red wires the matched and t-tapped the black wire from the parking light. hope this helps some people, took me a while to figure it out

i no what u did wrong! 2 ways to figure the problem
1)it cant b the fuse b/c my bro's car is perfectly fine.
if u want, put a 20amp fuse in its place
2)its gotta be the harness that u plug into the stock plug. u have 2 options.
a) chop off the connector that came with the HIDs and use male connectors to plug right into the stock harness. quick and easy
b) chop the stock harness and use a 96-00, i think 92-95 harness and rewire it up. waste of time and messes up ur nice and perfect oem wiring.
