school project..need a little help

Default school project..need a little help

ok, so heres the deal. i am a junior in high school and we have a project to basicaly do any thing we want(i guess this is supposed to teach us something). so a friend sugested i try to add 25 hp to my car by the time i graduate. i thought this sounded like a good idea so now im here with about a year and a half to add 25 hp.
so now i have a 91 CRX si with the basic ****( no name intake, shitty piping and crapy no name exhust) i know this car has potencial. i have a job so i do have money just not lotz...ok so wut my questions is what do all u smart dudes suggest i do to succeed..so far i plan to get dc headers, full exhuast, and a mine me swap....will that do the trick????

yeah, you must not be able to read either because there is a spell checker. If you do a search on all of your questions you will find out that they have been answered many times

First of all, I'd like to say it would probably be beyond the scope of what you want to actually prove that you have gained 25hp. That is unless you want to spend your money on a dyno figuring out your gains instead of just adding more go-fast parts...

I'd suggest learning something new and different and telling about your progress...let me suggest art of some kind...drawing, painting, stuff like that.

No, there is no second of all...I just liked starting first of all.

i/h/e should do it easily and will be around 1000

a 50 shot will double the hp and cut the price in half

a dohc zc swap with an intake will also get you over the 25hp mark

so many combinations

A performance cam will most likely increase power drastically but cut fuel mileage way down. Get the cam gears, too.

just get nitrous. thats a year and a half of work cut down to a few days at most. just dont blow your engine in a year and a half.

Bump up the compression. Better cams. Better flowing head.
