I have a 91 DX CRX with a Moonroof. I was wondering if i could swap out the pop-up moonroof and put in a Si sunroof. Has anyone tried this before. THanks

 

You can but its more then a pop in job.

Sounds like a project...but isn't a moonroof the one that slides back and the sunroof the pop up?

 

Probably the best way to do a conversion like that would be to get a complete roof skin from an Si cut off yours and then weld in the Si roof. Your going to have to drill out all of the spot welds off of both roofs though to make sure everything lines up right.

I would say your best bet is to just go to a place that installs them and see what they could do for you cause doing a complete roof swap if your not doing it yourself would be pretty damn expensive.

 

I think they might be $800 bucks
