how much a used S2000 go for?
It all really depends on the condition of the car, mileage, modifications, etc. I would say that on average an S2000 in excellent condition with about 30,000 miles on it will go for close to $24k...

How can you throw out a general price of $24k? An MY00 with 30k miles on it should go for WAY less than $24k. In fact, that price would be more in line for an '02 with that mileage if you shopped carefully.
General rules of thumb for right now on used pricing...
MY00 $18-20k
MY01$21-23k
02's and newer get a little trickier because they vary greatly depending on mileage. I recently read that someone bought a used '02 with over 30k on the clock for $23.5k. On the other hand, I know someone who bought their '02 in May with 4k on the clock for $24.5.

Everything is market price. You can't find a used S2000 in the Seattle area for under $22,000... period. Just doesn't happen. Autotrader.com is good resource to use in researching prices.
Also of course depends on whether or not you get it at a dealer.
I would actually recommend getting a Honda Certified S2000. Maintenance is somewhat expensive on this car, and you have the option of getting all the service bulletin's taken care of for free.
I'm getting a brand new clutch in my 42K mile car for free.

Well I dont know how much a Rubicon goes for but my mom just traded her 2003 Wrangler straight across for a 2002 S2000 with 20k miles. They first wanted 30k for it but I have no clue what happened...
