Default I hate how my hatch creaks and rattles

The body twists and creaks when i drive onto driveways. I would think strut bars and other chassis support bars would not get rid of these noises altogether...signs of an aging unibody frame

Try using that silicone polyurethane goo on your rear suspension bushings... you know, the big one in front of your wheel.

I just adjusted those rubber things on the back to give the lock a tighter fit and dont have any problems now.

How did you do this...do you have any pics? sorry i have no idea what you are talking about. And the polyurethane silicone goo you are talking about is it just grease? you're not talking about like 3M window weld type stuff are you?

Thanks,
VINCE

on th efar corners of your hatch(the side that goes up and down) are 2 rubber black nubs that can be screwed in and out. if that dont work play with the latch since it is adjustable a bit and if that fails put some cloth around the hook that goes into the latch.

you'd most likely be surprised how much tie bars and strut bars(good ones, not ebay crap) would help, but your ride might suffer, probably not much at all though

Also, wrap your Hatch latch with electrical tape. Stops it from squeaking too.

yeah just try unscrewing those rubber points on the left and right side of the hatch, it worked for me too.
