wow, nice deal bro on that del sol. i love the cluster, and seats of the del sol. it would be pretty tight to put into a CRX, but probably it'll take a lot of work. THe engine, i know you can put in the CRX, it's only a d15b7, strong engine IMO.(but not compared to a d16,b16,b18, ect ect.)

i don't think you should use the complete obd1 harness and ecu unless u do go ahead and swap the dash/cluster/console, ect ect. Can't you just use an Si ecu and wiring harness and stay obd0?

actually if its the Si model the engine should be a d16z6, which is the single cam VTEC. I know the seats and engine will swap, but thats all i have heard of. The seats by themselves are worth 250 if theyre in good condition. The seats dont directly bolt in but its not hard to make em fit. You should fix up the exterior and sell it for profit!

I would not do a Z6 swap without doing a OBD 1 convesion, you might as well do it right and since you have everything to do it, it would be dumb not to. How bad is the body? IMO them seats suck. I would put torn up HF seats in any one of my cars before them. The wife had a set in her crx OMG were them things uncomfortable. We sold them for 30 dollors more then they were worth, $30.

Wiring is easy just keep it straight. Dont swap the whole harness that will make it worse. Find a OBD 1 diagram and add some wires and switch some pins at the ecu and you have OBD 1. If you know basic car work you can do this with a little patience.

i cant do that wiring/computer stuff. i dont really even know what obd blah is. i know it has to do with how your ignition works and you need the mathcing computer with the ignition you have. I have all winter from november to may to work on this. im in sports during the winter so im jobless and poor. and have some extra free time that i figured since i cant afford to drive my car, i could just work on it

You could always get the obd-0 to obd-1 conversion harness from a few people that sell them on here. They will make it a lot easier for you in the long run.

You are in rare company. I find them extremely comfortable and a large number of people agree, which is the reason you can get $300 for them on Ebay.

The seats require some fabrication but someone on this board makes em...I just made my own (which takes the McGuyver is ya) by using the del sol rails and EF rails (keep in mind it was in an 89 rex)...As for the motor-wire it obd1 or pay someone-it will pay off in the long run.

If you did a MPFI swap you can do the OBD 1 conversion. You have all the parts now get to work.

When we got offered 30 bucks to get them out of my face I laughed all the way to the bank. I guess with people paying up to 300 I must have picky *** or something. Its pretty bony so I need padding.
