I measured em up, and dimensions are pretty close, but does anyone know from experience if the prelude sunroof is bolt on to the CRX?

Doubt it but maybe you can get it to work, pretty close means a lot of leaking.

 

bump.. anyone tried this? i was in the junkyard, saw about 5 88 preludes w/ glass moonroof intact.. my CRX Si's roof is rusted to ****.. figured i could just hook the glass one up where the old skinned one was... true? (before i waste money i dont have)

 

I think the only way that you are going to find out is if you actually try it. I doubt anybody has tried that here.

prelude sunroofs go inside the roof of the car...they do not pop out like on CRX's....

I think that should answer your question

 

i might sell my sunroof panel cause i might put a CF plug in
