97 Prelude tranny swap for Accords 5 speed
i have a 97 prelude h22a with a 5 speed and want to swap with a 97 accord 5 speed. need to know if i can do it and if so how much stuff do i have to change if anyy?
Yes you can do it, almost a direct bolt on. If you are going to sell your tranny on your prelude let me know as well. I wouldn't recomend it as the ACCOrd tranny is made for 'gas mileage' and you will make your car 'considerabley' slower. The ACCord tranny is geared too deep and whoever told you you get more top end is full of ****.

what kind of tracks are you racing on and what kind of HP are you making where you need to go more than 140mph?
Transmissions dont give you "topend" horsepower does
