What kind of welder are you using? The weld doesn't look like it's penetrating into the crack very well. From the pictures it looks like it's your subframe and thats some THICK metal. Your best shot IMO is to tear down that side of the engine bay and clear it all out. Grind everything down around that crack and have it welded shut with a high amperage MIG so the weld gets deep into the crack (your welds appear to be sitting on top of the crack and not getting into it). Grind that down and clean it up and then maybe weld some "band-aids" across the crack with some strips of metal.

Either that or tear down that whole side of the car and weld in a new subframe.

Yea them welds look a little "gloppy" but anything on a unibody can be repaired with a welder and new metal so that can be fixed you just need to find out the best way to do it. You can always cut a corner out of another car and weld in.

Those are some of the shitiest weld s I have ever seen! You need to MIG weld that to get a nice weld and good penitration. I am in my fourth semester of welding so I am pretty damn good (Doing it fourth time for experiance, not due to falure I am already lincon certified) If you live in cali I'll take the motor out and mig weld that so it never comes apart again for $1000.

shitty weld, thats why it keeps cracking. the crack might have started due to rust.

just get some nice penetrating welds in there. the ones you have now looks more like some solder was dripped on top. get somebody else to weld it tho.
