Default pressure plates...

Do pressure plates have a tendency to lose clamping pressure over time? (surface aside, i'm talking about the actual spring pressure)

I would have to say yes- any spring that is used and especially heated will gradually lose clamping pressure- also- as the clutch disc wears the pressure plate has to extend farther to clamp the disc which also reduces pressure.
