Warren Wang = Karl Shultz, of VA !!
Ok Ok......
Saturday - Warren picks up the ITR to take to an Audi club event. (Bryan Scratches head, and wonders what Pop's is thinking)
Sunday - I "think" the car stayed park for most of the day, so nothing to report.
Monday - Warren hits the track. (Summit Point) Again, things seem to be ok. Nothing too crazy on "Monday". (Bryan is still scratching his head, though)
Tuesday - Warren only drives the car for a session or two (Thank you Phill!!) but, manages to break a fog light we just replaced. But, I'm thinking Warren had the car for 5 days , and all we got was a broken fog, we can live with that.
Wednesday - Warren replaces brake pads, err I mean Steve replaces pads while Warren watches...
He heads out my way to bring to car back. He decides to get into a yelling match with a skunk. He turns the car around and BAM runs right over the skunk. But, not before the skunk manages to spray the entire under side of the car. (yum yum) This is great, Kelly wants to think him too, since we were supposed to go up 211 Thursday evening. Anyways... I'm still thinking, 5 days with the car and all to report is -skunk smell and broken fog light-. Not too bad, right?
Ok Ok... Now things start to go crazy.. Keep in mind Warren had the car for 5 days....
Friday, I get to Summit Point for a FATT, and tape up the fog light
. I go out for my first session, things seem to be fine. I pull in, jump in a few cars to instruct. I return to the car and Victor asks, "did you notice this" , while looking at one of wheels. Low and behold, we have a broken Spoon wheel. I'm thinking Warren, Warren, Warren..... But again, he did have the car for 5 days.
To recap, one broken fog light, skunk smell, and 1 broken Spoon wheel.
This brings us to...
Saturday Nov 2nd. : George shows up at Summit to roll a few Porches.. I get a call... Bryan we've stripped a few lugs.. I find a few stockers at a local auto parts store, but I'm left thinking... yeah you guessed it Warren Warren Warren.. But, still it could've been a lot worse, right? 5 days, remember?? ... Ok, so George finaly makes it out for his first session.... 15 minutes into it.. poof..... We drop a valve... (so we think, per reports from Steve)
Now I'm thinking that is more like it... Now we can say, WE HAVE BEEN WANGED!!!!!
Warren, we still love ya!
Also, wanted to say thanks to the ECHC guys for an awesome year of spectating! Great show yesterday, guys!
Congrats!

Warren did not hurt the Accord this weekend. In fact he drove it to a second place finish on Sunday and gave me some lap times to shoot for next year.
I hope he had fun driving the pig around.

It was definitely great to see him behind the wheel of something and back out on the track.

Let's see if we can help Warren out a little here shall we?
Bryan, here is the link to My skunk story: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=661717
In it you will find a useful cure for the skunk stink. I can't fix the valve, wheel or fog light but, I figured if the car smells as bad as my poor dog did, you can spray that concoction on the Knightonmobile and at least something will be cured.
Have a
on me guys!
Anton
PS, I shuffle-steer smoothly with the best of them now Bry.

On Tuesday witht the Audi Club, I ask Warren to drive my car for a few sessions and give me a few tips for the ECHC race. Sho' nuff, 20 minutes into the session a wheel comes loose and breaks the wheelstuds.
Warren is the new Karl!
Seriously though, Warren was very, very cool to take the time to help me out - particularly since I'll be racing against him. (sort of). He's fast, of course, but his technical knowledge was the most impressive thing!

Why don't you sell the car to Ross with the blown motor so he can do the K20 swap he's been talking about?</TD></TR></TABLE>
That's a fantastic idea!
Warren isn't the new Karl. Karl said hi to me at Summit, so my brake pads vaporized and the backing plates ate my rotors. Warren has never caused a problem with #1013.
Come to think of it, I stayed over at Karl's house one night in February of 2001 for a VIR event. The next day, I spun in Hogpen during the ECHC exhibition.
Then, I had to go home early because my grandmother fell ill. Karl gave her SARS from 500 miles away.
**** has nothing on Karl.

Warren,
The car is fine. Got tapped pretty good in the right rear in the carousel and immediately spun out - both feet in. Bumper scuffed but no meaningful damage. Unfortunately, the LF tire came off the rim during the off, so the race was done for me. Amazingly, the tire / rim are even still in good shape.
No harm done really...all part of the fun
The punter, who will remain nameless, was super cool and apologized right away. Great show of sportsmanship.
How was your race?

And then there was the time when his ITR was still a street car and in a matter of fraction of a second, it became his race car as we went front first into a rock/dirt wall as we were testing out his new CAI.

I had a great race on sunday. I got a ton of positions on the start following Heath straight up the friggin middle. I moved up at least 6 positions by turn 1.
I also had a great battle with a Saturn wagon. hehe. We were definately pushing each other hard. He finally got me on the next to last lap in T10. I coulda blocked, but it's not like it's an important race or anything. We drag raced all the way down to the apex of T1.
I got bumped by a few Miatas, but the tank shows no signs of damage. There was the HUGE slide coming out of T10. Oops. The Accord needs more power and an lsd to better pull itself out of oversteering situations
