Default VSS code 17, problem ?

Ok, everytime I get in the boost and go kinda fast my CEL comes on and throws the VSS code 17.

#1 I didn't think PM6 ecu/ crx'x had a VSS.

#2 my speedo cable isn't plugged into my tranny right now, is that why its flipping out on me ?

#3 10psi kicks *** !!!

Yes, not connecting your speedo cable to your vss will cause a code 17...seems like a no brainer.

Yea your right... I just didn't think the CRX's had a VSS... I guess if they didn't my car couldn't throw the VSS code

your VSS is on the back of the speedo, driven by the speedo cable.

for a incomplete install.

D16Z6 internals, D16A6 head/cam = 8.4/1 compression.

Yea, its my own fault, I didn't take the time to do it

Scary.. My car is running lean with 450cc injectors and -27 across the board on the AFC with stock fuel presure. I think my 160K mile fuel pump is giving up after 9 bottles of nitrous at 80psi fuel presure and now the turbo. I guess its time for the stealth pump to go in the civic..
